rockwell is ONE!

my baby is ONE! how on earth did time go by so quickly? i love my little rockwell more than anything and i am so blessed to have him in my life. he has helped me to become more than i am and to appreciate life, even during the tough times. so in honor of his first birthday we decided to do a fun photo shoot. happy birthday sweet boy!

i love this girl! aly is so full of life and she is seriously fun to be around. i always enjoy spending time with her... probably because i revert back to my 18 year old self and gab about boys and fun things as opposed to my typical mom talk. she has the ability to make everyone around her laugh and we get along so well. i love you al pal and i'm so excited for you to graduate and experience more that this life has to offer.

oh, and don't ever lose your love of life, it's what i love most about you!

the dalton family

you might remember the daltons from this post. well, sweet little rosie is here and she is a fighter! i am so blessed to know her and have her example in my life. here she is, smiling away, with her sweet family. she has now had two open heart surgeries and is home with her family. she continues to exude happiness and strength and i love seeing that big smile. as always it was a blast spending the afternoon with this beautiful bunch. i love you dalton family!

the birth of bennett gregory irwin

what a special experience it was for me to be able to capture my sister's birth story. bennett's birth was calm and precious. danielle stayed relaxed the whole time and did a wonderful job of bringing her son into the world. it was an honor to be a witness to such a sacred experience. now that i am a mother, the entire process of conception all the way to birth, is such a miracle to me. it really makes me see just how much God's hand is in everything we do. thank you danielle & greg, for allowing me to be present for the birth of your son. i am so proud of you both and love my little nephew, bennett so much already! XO
